During the session, deputies elected the new leadership and standing committee of the Luohu CPPCC and adopted a resolution on the work of the session.

The session called on all CPPCC members to make full use of their influence across different industries and sectors and convey confidence in Luohu’s development to the wider community.
Luohu enjoys the geographic advantage of linking Shenzhen and Hong Kong, as well as well-developed resources in science, education, culture and healthcare. Its industries are gaining momentum in emerging and high-quality fields, the session noted.
Members were urged to explain Luohu’s strengths, publicize the district’s changes and present a clear vision for its future. By doing so, they can help unite forces from all sectors to revitalize Luohu and create new brilliance for the district.
CPPCC members were encouraged to serve as Luohu’s advisers and think tanks, ambassadors for promoting the district, and bridges connecting the Party committee and government with enterprises and the public.
At the district level, members should conduct in-depth research on major issues, including the goals of the “Seven Luohus” initiative and 10 key areas of work, and put forward more practical proposals. Externally, they should promote Luohu’s development advantages and business environment while helping attract high-quality projects and outstanding talent. At the provincial and national levels, they should continue advocating for Luohu in the advancement of major projects and the securing of important policy resources.
Members were also asked to communicate the work arrangements of the Party committee and government, collect the opinions and demands of enterprises and residents, and strengthen the connection between the authorities and the public.
The session called for the Luohu CPPCC to further develop itself as a home for its members, democracy and unity. It should improve its institutional mechanisms, member services and management, organize study and training activities, provide stronger support for members in performing their duties, and establish more platforms for member communication. These efforts are intended to help CPPCC members perform their responsibilities more effectively.
Members of the new Luohu CPPCC Committee were urged to consciously uphold the CPC’s overall leadership, maintain the correct political direction, consolidate their common ideological foundation and remain aligned with the Luohu CPC Committee in direction and action.
