Luohu District has officially launched its "OPEN Luohu" industry integration campaign, kicking off with a specialized session focused on artificial intelligence (AI), software, and information technology held at an event July 28.

The debut event attracted more than 70 participants, including AI and software tech entrepreneurs, venture capital partners, and representatives from various banking institutions.

A three-pillar framework for growth

The newly launched "OPEN Luohu" campaign is built around three core strategic pillars designed to foster comprehensive integration of funding, application environments, and industrial resources:

● Open to Capital: Aiming to resolve financing bottlenecks for growing tech enterprises.

● Open to Scenarios: Opening up practical application environments for new technologies.

● Open to Future: Embracing "new quality productive forces" to drive long-term industrial upgrade.

Showcasing high-tech innovation

A key highlight of the event was the corporate roadshow, where six high-quality AI companies presented their latest projects.

These companies showcase cutting-edge solutions across visual intelligent robotics, industrial digital infrastructure, 3D vision, embodied intelligence data services, AI-driven travel planning, and industrial control network security. 

Several of the firms hold the status of national-level "little giant" enterprises (specialized and sophisticated SMEs), attracting strong interest and engagement from the investors in attendance.

Capital and scenarios: Luohu’s dual advantages

As a key Shenzhen port district bordering Hong Kong, Luohu serves as a crucial hub linking capital, technology, and markets. The district is leveraging its traditional strength in the financial sector — characterized by a high concentration of banking, securities, and insurance institutions — to back the "Open to Capital" initiative with robust financial resources.

Simultaneously, Luohu is actively expanding its AI application landscape to support the "Open to Scenarios" pillar. The district has already established Shenzhen’s first government services hall powered by HarmonyOS and deployed benchmark smart solutions in local schools and hospitals.

Moving forward, Luohu plans to use the "OPEN Luohu" campaign series as a platform to accelerate its "AI + software and information" expansion plan, integrating technological innovation into the district's urban development to build a smarter and more modern Luohu.
