Luohu to host first drone technology carnival in Yumin village

The "Creative Luohu: Yumin Village's First Drone Technology Carnival 2026" will be held from June 13 to 14 at Yumin Village Cultural Plaza in Shenzhen's Luohu district, showcasing the integration of technology, culture and industry through a series of immersive low-altitude economy experiences.
Hosted in Yumin village, located in Luohu's Nanhu subdistrict, the two-day event will feature exhibitions, interactive drone experiences, science popularization activities and industry exchange programs, offering visitors opportunities to explore the rapidly developing low-altitude economy sector.
Designed as a full-scenario immersive experience, the carnival will be organized around four themed zones: "Tracing Cultural Roots," "Smart Aviation Future," "Aerospace Innovation," and "Launching New Business Opportunities." Organizers said the event aims to combine cultural heritage, technological innovation, industrial collaboration and public participation in a single platform.
The carnival is also intended to help bridge the "last mile" between low-altitude economy technologies and real-world applications, while fostering a new growth driver for the community.
A key highlight of the event will take place on June 13, when the Yumin Village Low-Altitude Economy Industry Incubation Base is scheduled to be officially launched.
The facility will become Luohu's first low-altitude industry platform led by a village-owned company, marking a new step in the district's efforts to cultivate emerging industries at the community level.
During the event, the Yumin Village Initiative for Low-Altitude Technology Development will also be released.
