Luohu secures over 8 billion yuan in intended deals at ICIF

The 22nd China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair concluded at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center on Monday, with Luohu District reporting a record high of more than 8 billion yuan in intended deals from on-site consumption, project signings and cooperation agreements at sub-venues.
During the fair, Luohu held a promotion and signing event for cultural and digital creative industry scenarios. Fourteen projects were signed on site, including those involving Boruntong, Poly Culture and the headquarters of Shijichuanjia Jewelry, with a total cooperation value of 2.03 billion yuan.
Under the theme "A tech-powered and vibrant new Luohu," the Luohu exhibition area brought together 33 key enterprises and institutions. The display focused on four sections, namely space industries, sci-tech innovation, cultural industry integration and fashion trends, showcasing the district's latest achievements in aerospace, intelligent technology, fashion consumption, cultural products and trendy toys.
The fair also featured five Luohu sub-venues, including Art Design Center, Shenzhen Antique City and Media Music Valley, with activities ranging from overseas cooperation programs and a special exhibition on qiaopi letters to an exhibition of Qing Dynasty imperial calligraphy and paintings and music industry programs.
The signed projects reflect Luohu's push to use its strengths in services to support manufacturing and accelerate its shift toward a modern urban economy driven by both producer services and consumer services. Boruntong, a NEEQ-listed company specializing in animation IP and digital visual effects, will set up its Greater Bay Area headquarters in Luohu. Poly Culture will participate in the operation of smart cultural and sports spaces in the district. Shijichuanjia, a high-end jewelry brand, will establish its Greater Bay Area headquarters in Luohu, supporting Shuibei's move toward high-end branding and headquarters economy.
Luohu also used the fair as a platform for investment promotion and industrial matchmaking. During the event, the district invited executive teams from more than 10 well-known cultural companies, including China Film Group and Yuen Woo-ping Pictures, to revisit Luohu and explore cooperation opportunities. It also held on-site discussions with companies such as MALT Media, Huace Film & TV and LIFENG Culture, leading to more than 50 intended cooperation deals.
The fair also highlighted Luohu's efforts to attract younger consumers and renew traditional commercial areas. Since its renovation in 2024, Dongmen Pedestrian Street has brought in 252 quality brand stores.
Among them, New Baima Dimension No. 9, a 17,000-square-meter ACG-themed commercial complex, has become the Greater Bay Area's first commercial complex centered on animation, games and virtual idols. Young consumers now account for more than 70% of Dongmen's customer base, while nighttime foot traffic has increased by 40% year on year.
