Luohu accelerates growth in software, information services and AI

As a strong service-oriented district, Luohu continued to see steady growth in its service sector in the first quarter of 2026. Revenue of software and information service enterprises above designated size grew by 11.2%, outpacing the provincial and municipal averages.
In line with Shenzhen's push to build itself into an AI pioneer city, Luohu is accelerating the growth of its software, information services and AI industries. The district is now home to 233 AI enterprises above designated size, with 123 new software, information services and AI companies added in 2025.
Recent developments, from group participation in major exhibitions to intensive new product launches and leading revenue growth, reflect the rising momentum of Luohu's software and AI sectors. They also signal the district's faster transition from a traditional service powerhouse to a hub for software and information innovation.
Jieshifeitong, a company that moved into Luohu in 2025, showcased its full range of Lingmou quadruped robots at the exhibition. At its 2026 product launch on May 15, the company debuted two new products, the Lingmou emergency rescue quadruped robot and the Lingmou intelligent robotic guide dog. The rescue robot is designed for high-risk emergency scenarios, while the guide dog robot fills a gap in China's full-scenario robotic guide dog sector.
In the first quarter, several key Luohu enterprises also made progress in automotive-grade chips, AI computing power, large models and open-source ecosystems. Hangshun Chip released China's first automotive-grade chip based on the ARM Cortex-M4 core. Jiangyuan Technology launched a fully domestically developed offline desktop AI computing device that supports local inference for large-scale models. Sotrip Technology introduced what it describes as the world's first multimodal large-model travel customization platform. iSoftStone Smart City, together with Huawei, released a flagship urban intelligence hub solution.
Luohu is also expanding real-world AI application scenarios. Its scenario platform has released 86 scenario opportunities and 255 scenario capabilities, with 131 projects already implemented. The district has taken an early lead in AI-powered elderly care, released three specialized medical corpora, and built China's first HarmonyOS-based digital twin library. It is also exploring full-chain applications in digital creativity, tourism and sports.
To support these efforts, Luohu has introduced service providers, building computing capacity of more than 6,500P. It has also released specialized corpora for physical examination, weight management and ultrasound imaging, turning medical data resources into drivers of innovation.
