Luohu showcases AI ecosystem at Shenzhen global AI expo

Luohu District made a strong showing at the World AI Device Expo 2026 & 7th Shenzhen Global AI Expo, which opened at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center on May 14.
At the Luohu booth, a group of local AI companies presented products and solutions ranging from AI modules and robots to smart wearables and AI-powered cultural products, highlighting the district's growing AI industry ecosystem.
Shenzhen Jiangyuan Technology Co., Ltd. won the Global AI Device Innovation Excellence Award for its innovation in AI terminal applications. Shenzhen Yufan Microelectronics Co., Ltd. displayed its AI module, described as the "core brain" of intelligent hardware, with functions including emotion recognition, multimodal interaction, long-term memory and remote OTA upgrades.
HIT Pengze (Shenzhen) Robotics Technology Co., Ltd. presented HIROBOT robotic products, while iFreecomm showcased its Lingmou series of quadruped robots, designed for emergency rescue, police patrol, intelligent inspection and robotic guide-dog applications.
Shenzhen Hipine Precision Technology Co., Ltd. also presented its HIPINE smart ring, which combines precious metals with smart wearable functions.
A supply-demand matchmaking session was also held during the expo. Local companies including iFreecomm, PP Parking and Longyan Cultural Creativity gave roadshow presentations, introducing solutions in low-latency video communication, all-terrain robots, smart parking and charging, and AI-powered companion toys.
Plug and Play China Greater Bay Area International Innovation Center released a 120-day incubation plan for the OPC community, offering full-cycle support for AI startups from project selection and incubation to commercialization. The first 13 projects have joined the program.
Tanggu Technology, a benchmark project incubated by the center, signed strategic cooperation agreements with several partners to promote the application of enterprise AI brains and industry-specific AI asset packages.
Plug and Play China also signed an agreement with PICC Property and Casualty Company Limited to build a dedicated risk protection system for AI startups. The insurer released a product covering R&D losses, data infringement, AI-generated content infringement and startup risks.
The Shenzhen Branch of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China introduced financing products for tech companies, including loans for sci-tech innovation, R&D and investment-linked financing, aiming to support AI companies at different stages of development.
Luohu also promoted its AI industry policies and released the district's second batch of scenario opportunities for 2026, covering smart trade unions, smart communities, smart industrial parks, the pet economy and other application fields.
On May 14, the Luohu booth received more than 1,000 visits and inquiries, while the matchmaking session attracted over 50 industry representatives, buyers and investors. The event helped connect technologies, products, capital and talent, creating new opportunities for AI companies to grow in Luohu.
