2026 Esports Guangdong Super League Shenzhen Stop concludes in Luohu

The Shenzhen stop of the 2026 Esports Guangdong Super League wrapped up on April 12 at Jinpifang Cultural Block (Kingway Brewery) in Luohu district, concluding two days of highenergy competition and esportsthemed activities. The Shenzhen regional finals crowned Team BYG as the champion in Honor of Kings and Team VAG as the winner in Valorant.
The event drew strong online engagement, surpassing 10 million views across platforms. Offline, the tournament delivered a notable boost to dining and retail activity in the surrounding commercial area.
According to event data, the competition attracted 264,700 visitors over two days — an average of 132,000 per day, representing a 52% year-on-year increase and an 18% rise from the previous period. Sales in the area reached 5.16 million yuan, up 53.14% year on year and 23.06% month on month.
Beyond the main stage, a themed market featuring more than 30 brands drew steady crowds. Long queues formed at beverage booths offering free tastings, esportschair experience zones remained packed, roaming cosplayers became popular photo attractions, and a playful "pet patience challenge" stopped passersby in their tracks.
The venue also hosted an esports industry experience hall, showcasing Guangdong's esports ecosystem through four sections of talent+, esports+, travel+, and products+, offering visitors an immersive look at the province's policies, industry chain, and development potential.
Once a brewery, Jinpifang has been revitalized into a thriving esports destination. The event highlighted how the site is pioneering a model of "old landmark + new esports," using youthdriven cultural experiences to stimulate tourism and commercial vitality. By converting event traffic into sustained business activity, Jinpifang is emerging as a dynamic hub for Shenzhen's esports and cultural industries.
