During the Qingming Festival holiday, a rising number of Hong Kong residents chose to "travel north," driving heavy foot traffic across Luohu's major ports. Liantang Port, the newest land port in Shenzhen, was no exception, with crowds surging throughout the long weekend.

Liantang Port Station, located next to the port, serves as an interchange between Metro Line 2 and Line 8. Its towering mountain silhouettes, formed by countless dots, represent the collective effort behind Shenzhen's development "miracle."

Just a one-minute walk from Exit A3 is Lanting International Mall, a boutique-style shopping center known for its dining options. With its clean environment, convenient location, and diverse eateries, the mall has become a popular stop for Hong Kong travelers — many of whom pick up pastries and snacks to take home before crossing the border.

Nearby, Liantang Port Commercial City has emerged as the first cross-border commercial zone in Shenzhen to achieve full coverage of the Assured Consumption Commitment. The complex receives more than 30,000 customers daily, with Hong Kong visitors accounting for over 80%. The area blends Hong Kong's familiar cultural atmosphere with Shenzhen's affordability: traditional Chinese menus, neon-style signage, and Cantonese-speaking staff create a comfortable environment for cross-border shoppers. With average meal prices just over 100 yuan, the district offers a one-stop experience for dining, shopping, and leisure.

The commercial zone also features bank branches, parcel-collection points, currency-exchange counters, dental clinics, and pharmacies, making cash withdrawal, currency exchange, and package pickup exceptionally convenient for travelers.
