China's first gold and jewelry OPC community launches in Shenzhen's Shuibei

On March 20, the launch ceremony of the E+ Jewelry OPC Community, along with the Open Crab intelligent agent internal testing seminar, was held in Shenzhen's Shuibei district, a major hub of China's jewelry industry.
Focusing on AI-driven digital upgrading and OPC ecosystem building, the initiative marks the establishment of China's first OPC (One Person Company) community dedicated to the jewelry industry, exploring new pathways for industrial transformation.
As the world's largest jewelry cluster, Shuibei records an annual wholesale transaction volume exceeding 120 billion yuan and accounts for around 50% of China's jewelry market. While benefiting from strong industrial scale, the sector also faces challenges such as slow creative transformation.
The launch of the E+ Jewelry OPC Community aims to address these challenges by adopting the OPC model and leveraging AI technologies to build a vertical innovation ecosystem. It provides a platform for jewelry professionals, brands, and designers, enabling "one-person teams" to operate more efficiently with enhanced support systems.
At the launch ceremony, E+ OPC Community leader He Xubin introduced the community's core positioning and development plan. He noted that the OPC model does not mean doing everything alone, but rather centers on individuals empowered by AI and supported by an ecosystem. This allows professionals to focus on key strengths such as design, customer engagement, and product selection, while AI handles repetitive tasks, and the community provides resources, compliance support, and technical services.
As the first of its kind in China, the E+ Jewelry OPC Community fills a gap in the industry and complements existing OPC initiatives in Luohu District. It translates broader municipal and district-level industrial strategies into practical, measurable innovation at the industry level.
A key highlight of the event was the internal test launch of Open Crab, an AI-powered intelligent agent designed specifically for the jewelry B2B sector. Open Crab CEO Tang Huanghu presented the system's core value and applications. Compared with general-purpose AI agents, Open Crab is tailored to industry needs, featuring modules such as a cloud-based management center and cross-platform collaboration tools. It enables end-to-end support, including jewelry design inspiration, automated order management, real-time precious metal price analysis, intelligent marketing, and data synchronization across systems.
The event also included professional sessions on industry development, covering compliance in jewelry e-commerce and relevant policy updates, offering guidance for sustainable and compliant business operations. In addition, speakers shared cross-industry transformation experiences, demonstrating the viability of the OPC model in combining creativity and commerce.
During the event, a strategic signing ceremony was held, with the E+ OPC Jewelry Community entering into partnerships with nine organizations, including the Shenzhen Crafts & Gifts Industry Association, the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cultural Brand Intellectual Property Alliance, and the Shuibei Jewelry Cloud Warehouse. The agreements mark a new phase of collaborative ecosystem building, resource sharing, and complementary strengths.
The launch of the E+ OPC Jewelry Community represents a significant step in the digital transformation of Shuibei's jewelry industry. It also provides a comprehensive platform integrating training, incubation, employment, and resource support for industry practitioners.
Looking ahead, the community aims to develop a practical "AI + jewelry" training system, offering services in compliance, branding, and cultural integration, and promoting a new entrepreneurship model combining individual or small teams with AI.
