Luohu's industrial community model supports new business growth

In April, Shenzhen's first "Gree Dong Mingzhu Health Home" directly operated store will open in Sungang, Luohu District, featuring a retail space of over 500 square meters.
The launch reflects the improving business environment in the area, supported by Luohu's industrial community model, which integrates government services with enterprise development.
As Shenzhen's earliest developed district, Luohu has been addressing the limits of traditional community governance by extending services to businesses across the industrial chain. Sungang, the largest pilot area, brings together both long-established industries such as home furnishings and auto parts, and emerging sectors including finance, aerospace technology and artificial intelligence.
To better serve enterprises, the industrial community in the Hongling North area provides targeted, tiered support based on company needs, offering responsive services while minimizing unnecessary intervention. Since the pilot program began, 31 key enterprises have been established in the area, spanning smart home technology, data services and AI hardware development.
Beyond business services, the community has also introduced platforms to support professional networking. With women accounting for 44% of the workforce, a "Women Executives Lunch Club" was launched to facilitate connections, idea exchange and potential business collaboration.
In addition, community-based service centers located within office buildings provide shared spaces for work and daily activities. The 420-square-meter facilities offer reading areas, fitness and wellness programs, as well as training sessions such as evening AI workshops. They also provide consultation services on talent policies and application support.
Together, these measures have helped create a more supportive and efficient environment for businesses, contributing to the continued attraction of new projects to Sungang.
