Temporary shuttle route opens for Wutong Mountain flower viewing

A temporary shuttle route connecting Liantang Port and the Wutong Mountain area opened on March 16, making it easier for visitors to enjoy spring flowers in eastern Shenzhen.
The "Xiantong Line" links Liantang Port with the Dawutong–Wutong Mountain scenic area. Starting from 9:00 a.m., travelers who cross the border at Liantang Port can board the shuttle directly outside the port. The ride takes only about 10 minutes, and the scenery quickly shifts from city buildings to forested mountain views.
The first stop is Xianhu Botanical Garden, a popular green retreat for Shenzhen residents. Visitors can walk around the lake and enjoy the peaceful spring scenery. After visiting the garden, the shuttle continues to the Spring Flower Festival venue near Wutong Mountain.
The route connects Liantang Port and Wutong Mountain Art Town, with 11 stops including Liantang Port, Xianhu Botanical Garden Terminal, the Spring Flower Festival venue, Wutong Mountain North Gate, and Xianhu Metro Station.
The fare is 5 yuan, with buses departing every 30 minutes. The shuttle will operate on weekdays only from March 16 to April 2.
Additional transport arrangements have also been prepared for the Spring Flower Festival. A local shuttle bus (B699) runs between Wangtong Road and Wangtong New Road, stopping at several points along the route. Buses run every 15 minutes from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Parking has also been expanded, with more than 1,000 spaces available. The P1 and P2 parking lots provide about 700 paid spaces, while additional free parking will be available at a nearby primary school (weekends only) and at the Orchid Center. Real-time parking information can be checked through the "Qu Wutong" mini-program.
