French AI startup signs deal in Luohu

A French artificial intelligence startup has signed an agreement to establish operations in Luohu district, Shenzhen, marking a major milestone at the 9th China (Shenzhen) Innovation and Entrepreneurship International Competition.
The project, Libertify, from the Paris regional contest, will be based at the Plug and Play China Greater Bay Area International Innovation Center, becoming the first foreign-founded high-quality project in the nine-year history of the competition to successfully settle in Shenzhen.
The signing also represents a "strong start" for Luohu, which hosted an overseas regional contest of the competition for the first time this year, and achieved rapid conversion from competition participation to project landing.
The move reflects Shenzhen's continued efforts to build an open, inclusive and globally oriented innovation ecosystem, as well as the growing international appeal of the city's business environment.
Libertify's settlement is expected to further enrich Shenzhen's international innovation resources, strengthen Luohu's role in the global innovation network, and enhance the city's attractiveness to overseas high-level talents and innovation projects.
The project stood out in the competition with a production-ready AI solution. Its core technology can automatically transform static documents and large volumes of data into structured, interactive videos with AI narration, significantly improving the efficiency of information delivery and audience engagement.
