Luohu unveils top 10 benchmark innovation scenarios

Luohu District in Shenzhen has unveiled its 2025 top ten benchmark innovation scenarios and released an opportunity list worth over 100 million yuan, marking a new stage in scenario-based collaboration between Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
On Jan. 29, the district announced its 2025 top ten benchmark innovation scenarios at the 2026 "Shenzhen-Hong Kong in sync: innovating scenarios in Luohu" innovation conference, demonstrating the district's progress in applying new technologies to industrial upgrading and public services.
The scenarios cover areas including smart mobility and cultural tourism consumption, home-based elderly care, digital emergency management, smart education, overseas business services, green and healthy living, intelligent robotics, AI-powered healthcare, digital contract supervision, and innovative financial reform models.
Nearly 200 representatives from government departments, innovation-driven companies, and institutions from Shenzhen and Hong Kong attended the conference to explore practical pathways for scenario innovation and future industrial cooperation.
To help innovative products move from development to market, a dedicated exhibition area was set up on the ground floor of the venue. Forty-one companies showcased more than 100 cutting-edge products across fields such as artificial intelligence, OpenHarmony, aerospace technologies, life and health sciences, emergency response, smart governance, and smart living. Through immersive demonstrations and face-to-face business talks, the exhibition created an efficient matchmaking platform and led to multiple cooperation intentions on site.
Earlier that day, Luohu also released its first batch of 41 innovation opportunities for 2026, open to global innovators and expected to attract investment of over 100 million yuan. Aligned with the district's industrial strengths and emerging sectors, the opportunity list focuses on six key areas: OpenHarmony and RISC-V, aerospace, artificial intelligence, life and health sciences, safety and green technologies, and smart living.
The conference featured several major signing and unveiling ceremonies. Twelve companies and institutions were named the first batch of "scenario partners" for 2026, joining hands to build an open and collaborative innovation ecosystem. A cooperation agreement was also signed, with a focus on advancing low-altitude economy applications.
