Luohu livelihood audit project wins national and provincial honors

A livelihood-focused audit investigation project organized and implemented by Luohu District has recently received major recognition, winning the third prize in the county-level livelihood category of the National Outstanding Audit Projects and being named an Outstanding Audit Project of Guangdong Province.
The National Outstanding Audit Projects awards are organized by China's National Audit Office and represent one of the highest and most authoritative recognitions in the country's auditing sector.
The project is the only district- or county-level livelihood audit project in Guangdong Province to receive a national-level honor in 2025, and the first project by a district-level audit authority in Shenzhen to be recognized as a National Outstanding Audit Project.
Focusing on issues of direct public concern, the award-winning project targeted key sectors and critical links through precise audit supervision. By identifying institutional barriers and management weaknesses, it prompted audited entities to improve systems, standardize procedures, and strengthen internal controls, leading to systematic improvements in governance and risk prevention.
The audit findings have been effectively applied to policy optimization and livelihood improvement, translating oversight results into tangible governance outcomes. The project has enhanced public satisfaction, well-being, and sense of security, demonstrating the commitment of audit authorities in the new era to serving the people and fulfilling their responsibilities.
