Four bank branches in Luohu have been newly listed as technology-focused outlets, strengthening the district's technology finance service system, according to the Financial Regulatory Bureau of Shenzhen.

These banks are the Agricultural Bank of China (Renmin North Road Sub-branch), Bank of China (Buxin Sub-branch), China Construction Bank (Honghu Sub-branch) and Bank of Communications (Cuizhu Sub-branch). Together with the previously selected Industrial Bank (Sungang Sub-branch), Luohu now hosts five technology-focused branches.

Technology branches are emerging as an important vehicle for banks to support tech-oriented enterprises and industrial upgrading. They provide dedicated credit quotas for tech firms, offer tailored financial services for different stages of business growth, and allow greater tolerance for loan risks.

Luohu plans to strengthen the capabilities and specialization of its five existing technology branches, building a tiered network that delivers distinctive and high-quality services aligned with the district's new-quality productive forces.

The branches will act as a bridge between financial institutions and key enterprises, innovation platforms and industrial carriers, providing more precise financial services and fostering a positive cycle linking technology, industry and finance.

Focusing on Luohu's strategic emerging industries such as software and AI, low-altitude and aerospace technologies, alongside fast-growing sectors such as digital creativity and tech services, the district will encourage technology branches to enhance specialized lending products and diversified service offerings.

By improving its technology finance ecosystem and strengthening policy, funding and talent support, Luohu aims to attract more venture capital and innovation resources, further optimize its industrial structure and drive high-quality economic growth across the district.
