Shenzhen and Moscow forge stronger business ties at Luohu forum

A Shenzhen–Moscow business matchmaking forum was successfully held at the Chengmai Center in Luohu district, bringing together nearly 100 enterprises from both cities for in-depth discussions on partnership opportunities and mutual development.
The event produced tangible outcomes, with both sides agreeing to establish two long-term cooperation mechanisms. First, a dedicated online zone for showcasing Russian products and cooperation projects will be launched in the “Go Global” section of the Luohu i Enterprise WeChat mini-program. Second, a specialized offline matchmaking event for Russian companies in the biopharmaceutical sector will be held by the end of this year to deepen collaboration in key industries.
During the forum, a representative from the Luohu District Enterprise Service Center delivered a keynote presentation highlighting the district’s economic advantages. The presentation emphasized Luohu’s strong industrial base, efficient logistics network, extensive rail and metro systems, comprehensive policy support, abundant talent resources, and one-stop investment services — all positioning the district as an ideal destination for global business cooperation.
A representative from Moscow State University outlined the composition and focus of the Russian delegation and expressed optimism that the forum would pave the way for closer ties and mutually beneficial outcomes between enterprises from both sides.
Leveraging the Luohu District Enterprise Overseas Service Platform, the district has so far hosted nearly 70 offline events — including industry summits and matchmaking sessions — providing consultation services for local enterprises going abroad and connecting them with over 50 overseas partners and resources.
