Luohu kicks off 13th Campus Football All-Star Program

On Oct. 21, the 13th Luohu Campus Football All-Star Program and the 2025–2026 Luohu District Primary and Secondary School Campus Football League officially kicked off at Cuiyuan Junior High School.
Over the next six months, 122 teams from 49 primary and secondary schools across Luohu will compete in 308 matches. Meanwhile, the 2025 Shenzhen Campus Football Tournament for primary and secondary school students is also set to begin soon, with Luohu sending 20 teams from 13 schools to compete across eight divisions.
Luohu District has long prioritized both the popularization of campus football and the cultivation of young talent — a dual focus that has brought numerous honors and notable achievements. This year, Cuibei Experimental Primary School and Taoyuan Primary School were named National Youth Campus Football Model Schools, raising Luohu’s total to 28 such institutions.
The district has also established the “Starry Sky” elite training system, forming a comprehensive framework for nurturing outstanding players. In 2025, Luohu was recognized as a National Youth Campus Football Starry Sky Training Camp and a demonstration unit co-established with the Chinese Football Association (Shenzhen) Youth Training Center by the Ministry of Education, the General Administration of Sport, and the Chinese Football Association.
So far, more than 150 young athletes trained in Luohu have gone on to join professional football clubs and various city-level teams in Shenzhen, highlighting the district’s growing role in advancing youth football development.
