Sungang's 'cloud street' redefines urban vitality in Luohu

A 3,000-meter-long elevated "cloud street" weaving through high-rises and connecting more than 20 commercial complexes has emerged as a new landmark in Luohu district's Sungang sub-district, reshaping both the urban landscape and consumer experience.
The innovative corridor — featuring an 800-meter starlight jogging track — integrates walking and fitness with leisure and retail, offering city dwellers a fresh way to experience the district's skyline. Built on a multi-level system of second-floor walkways and sky plazas, the project revitalizes Sungang's spatial structure and creates a new dimension of urban interaction.
More than just an architectural breakthrough, the "cloud street" acts as an "industrial chain in the air," linking and energizing sectors such as headquarters economy, home furnishing, automobiles, and arts and crafts. Among them, the smart home industry stands out as a key highlight.
As the birthplace and hub of Shenzhen's home furnishing industry, Sungang now hosts eight specialized furniture and building material markets that bring together leading global brands. The area showcases state-of-the-art smart home technologies and innovative lifestyle concepts, reinforcing its role as a driver of intelligent living.
Transforming from a former "logistics stronghold" into a vibrant "walkable block," Sungang continues to explore new possibilities in spatial and content innovation. The sub-district is attracting premium home furnishing brands, arts and crafts enterprises, original design studios, and independent designers to build a highland for cultural and artistic creativity.
Blending creativity, technology and lifestyle, Sungang is poised to offer residents more diverse experiences and richer consumption choices while injecting new vitality into Luohu's urban renewal and industrial transformation.
