DoBePARK to emerge as new landmark in Luohu

Shenzhen's Luohu district is set to welcome a new cultural and creative landmark with the ongoing construction of the DoBe·Shenzhen Media Digital Creative Park (DoBePARK).
Formerly the Shenzhen National Animation Industry Base, the project is being redeveloped in 2025 through a partnership between Shanghai DoBe Group and Shenzhen Media Group. Positioned as a hub for "youth-driven commerce," the park will highlight film, advertising, and digital creativity as its core industries.
The project has already earned industry recognition, winning the "Best Urban Landmark Complex Award" at the 13th GBE Commercial Real Estate and Retail Innovation Forum. The award jury praised its model of combining Lingnan cultural heritage with digital industry empowerment, transforming old assets into a magnet for youthful innovation and offering a replicable "Shenzhen model" for urban renewal.
Upon completion, DoBePARK will feature more than 3,000 square meters of green space and is expected to attract an 80% concentration of digital creative enterprises. The development will also introduce a dynamic commercial street designed to appeal to young consumers while serving office workers within the park and over 100,000 nearby residents.
