Shenzhen inaugurates micro-drama and film industry service centers in Luohu

On August 7, the Shenzhen Micro-Drama Service Center and the Luohu Branch of the Shenzhen Film and Television Industry Service Center were officially inaugurated in Luohu district. The ceremony was attended by officials from the Publicity Department of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports, Shenzhen Media Group, and the Luohu district government.
The initiative is regarded as a key step toward promoting the full-chain development of the film and television industry, deepening cultural cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, and positioning the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area as a major hub for film and television production.
As the first district-level branch of the Shenzhen Film and Television Industry Service Center, the Luohu branch represents a further improvement in the city’s “municipal-district coordination and targeted services” system, providing fresh impetus for the high-quality growth of the film and television sector in Luohu and across Shenzhen.
The Shenzhen Film and Television Industry Service Center is the city’s only government-led service institution for the sector. It operates seven platforms covering policy guidance, filming services, film and television creation, industry integration, cooperation and exchange, talent development, and publicity and promotion.
