Luohu North Station to break ground in September

Construction of Luohu North Station, a key stop on the Shenzhen–Shanwei high-speed railway, is set to begin in late September and is expected to be completed by the end of November 2027.
The railway starts from Xili Station in Shenzhen and passes through the districts of Nanshan, Longhua, Futian, Luohu, Longgang, and Pingshan, as well as Daya Bay, Huiyang, and Huidong in Huizhou, before reaching its terminus at Shenshan Station in the Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone.
As a major infrastructure project under the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area's interconnectivity plan, the railway also forms a key part of the Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone's "five railways and five expressways" external transport network.
The 125.5-kilometer line includes about 52.5 kilometers in Shenzhen, 56.1 kilometers in Huizhou, and 16.9 kilometers in the Shenshan zone.
Six stations are planned along the route: Xili, Luohu North, Shenzhen Pingshan, Huiyang, Huidong South, and Shenshan. With a designed top speed of 350 kilometers per hour, the line will cut travel time from Shenzhen to the Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone in Shanwei city to just 30 minutes.
