Luohu North Station of Shenzhen–Shenshan High-Speed Railway to Begin Construction in September

Construction of Luohu North Station is scheduled to begin by the end of September 2025, with completion expected by late November 2027, according to a recent notice. The station is part of the newly planned Shenzhen–Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone High-Speed Railway (Shenshan HSR).
The Shenshan HSR is a key infrastructure project under the Greater Bay Area's interconnectivity plan, stretching 125.5 kilometers in length. Once completed, it will cut travel time between Nanshan District and the Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone to just 30 minutes.
Luohu North Station, located in the Qingshuihe area, will serve as a major stop along the route. The line starts from Xili Station in the Shenzhen railway hub and passes through key districts including Nanshan, Longhua, Futian, Luohu, Longgang, Pingshan, and then through Daya Bay, Huiyang, and Huidong in Huizhou, before reaching its final stop at Shenshan Station in the Special Cooperation Zone.
