Luohu District has implemented 75 measures this year to enhance health systems for both citizens and enterprises, thereby improving citizens' access to healthcare services.

Doctors from 130 specialist offices hold clinics in community health institutions within the district. The number of pharmaceuticals and examination items provided by the health centers has increased to 1,430 and 876, respectively.

Community health centers are equipped with self-service payment kiosks. A pilot program offers on-demand health services for individuals aged 65 and above living alone, those with serious illnesses, and people with disabilities. Large enterprises have established health stations, and approximately a hundred companies have participated in a health consultant program.

The health center in Cuizhu Sub-district, covering an impressive 9,860 square meters, stands as Shenzhen's largest and most comprehensive community-level health center. Residents can see a specialist with a registration fee of less than 50 yuan.

This year, the community health center in Cuizhu Sub-district has established a base for preventing and treating nearsightedness in children and adolescents. To date, the health center has conducted vision tests for 2,000 students and provided early intervention for over 600 students with vision abnormalities.

The health center in Liantang Sub-district helps identify residents with chronic conditions and improves their awareness of preventing severe diseases through services such as health management, education campaigns, and follow-up services.

According to a spokesperson from the Luohu Health Bureau, the region has 467 family doctor teams, and 541,000 residents have access to family doctors. Luohu residents can reach the nearest community health center within a 15-minute walk.
