How can I do marriage registration?

Step 1: Online appointment

Approach (1): Enter the Online Appointment System for Marriage Registration in Guangdong province

(http://www.gdhy.gov.cn/), select “开始预约(Make an Appointment)” “结婚登记(Marriage Registration)” to make an appointment.

Approach (2): Enter the “粤省事(Guangdong Governemnt Service Online)” WeChat mini program, select “婚姻(Marriage)”-“结婚登记预约(Marriage Registration Appointment)”-“涉港澳台、华侨、外国人结婚登记预约(Marriage Registration Appointment for China's Hong Kong SAR, China's Macao SAR, China's Taiwan region, Overseas Chinese, and Foreingers).”

Step 2: On-site registration: Bring the required materials to the appointment place for marriage registration at the appointment time.

Where can I do marriage registration?

At the Marriage Registration Office of Civil Affairs Bureau in 10 district (or new district). Transaction place in Luohu: Luohu District Civil Affairs Bureau Marriage Registration Office (Detailed informationcan be seen in the Appendix.)

What materials are required for marriage registration?

1.Shenzhen Resident: Household Registration Book (Hukou Book), Chinese ID Card

2.Foreigner: Passport or other valid international travel document, a Certificate of Marriageability (a single status certificate issued by notary offices or other related authorities in your country and authenticated by the Chinese embassy/consulate in your country, or a single status certificate issued by your country’s embassy /consulate in China.)

3.Three 2-inch marriage certificate photos.
