Shenzhen's inaugural school bus dedicated line, launched by the local community, officially commenced operations on Dec. 25. This initiative aims to alleviate the longstanding transportation challenges faced by students and their parents on their way to school.
The bus operates with a fare of one yuan. The operation model involves a combination of "government subsidy, social assistance, corporate concession, and citizen contribution," ensuring that students and their parents can genuinely experience an affordable, beneficial, and convenient commuting service.
Within the bus, a policy of "one person, one seat" is implemented. Parents and designated school personnel can track the real-time location of the bus through an app. Additionally, community volunteers are tasked with escorting students during commuting hours, significantly enhancing the efficiency and safety of the school commuting.
