The Guangdong Provincial Health Commission reported on Aug. 14 that an employee of the Shuibei Hema Fresh Food Supermarket in Luohu district was a confirmed case of COVID-19. Later, two more employees of the supermarket were confirmed as asymptomatic COVID-19 cases.

To meet the requirement that "all should be tested must be tested" and that further epidemiological surveys and screening for potential risks should be carried out, residents in the neighborhood of the Luofang Aquatic Products Market must receive nucleic acid tests from Aug. 15.

The first phase of the test is carried out in the area from Maowoling Hill in the east to Luofang Raod in the west and from Jingxuan Garden in the north to Yanfang Road in the south, plus the Xinxiu industrial zone.

The sample taking sites are established in the neighborhood. The work staff will go door to door to notify the residents and office clerks to have their samples taken.Residents in the region and office clerks, businesspeople and workers working in the region must be cooperative and have their samples taken for the COVID-19 nucleic acid tests as soon as possible. Everyone is strongly advised to strengthen their daily personal protection; when discomforts arise, everyone must seek treatment in the closest fever clinic.
