On Mar. 13, Shenzhen held a news conference on epidemic prevention and control. Xia Dong, deputy head of the Luohu district government, attended the news conference introducing measures the district takes to fight against the novel coronavirus.

Luohu launched a new round of regional nucleic acid testing over the past weekend, deploying 2,226 medical workers and 1,000 civil servants and setting up 197 sampling sites to ensure complete coverage of nucleic acid testing, said Xia.

Luohu has designated nine containment areas, nine control areas, and seven prevention areas in Guiyuan, Liantang, Nanhu, Dongmen, Huangbei, and Sungang.

The six sub-district offices have set up their respective 24-hour hotlines to help people living in the affected areas resolve their difficulties. Meanwhile, Luohu installed 1,192 pieces of electronic equipment in checkpoints at 958 communities and 35 villages to help the health workers to take regular epidemic prevention and control measures.

In addition, Luohu actively mobilizes property management personnel to participate in the checkpoint inspection of the community or villages.
