Luohu showcases innovation at national high-tech fair

Luo Yude, secretary of the Luohu District Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), and some senior officials of the district, including Lai Jianhua and Zuo Jinping, paid a visit to booths set up by enterprises from Luohu at the 22nd China Hi-Tech Fair in Shenzhen on Nov. 12.
A total of 21 enterprises from Luohu took part in the fair, which was held on Nov. 11-15, with 13 from the artificial intelligence (AI) industry and the others in the life and health sector.
Luo learned about the products and technologies they were exhibiting and encouraged them to increase their efforts in research and development of new technologies.
He was intrigued by a convenient isolation ward developed by Shenzhen Juding, a medical facility company. It can be folded down to the size of a refrigerator and can be built in 10 minutes.
He also inquired about a medical service robot developed by Epshealth in Shenzhen, as well as its researches into AI medical care equipment.
Luo was pleased to learn that some of the companies’ products are widely used in the front line of the fight against the COVID-19 virus, and he spoke highly of their innovative efforts.
The main theme of Luohu’s exhibition area at the fair was “To improve technological ecology and to stimulate innovation vitality.” Its main exhibits concentrated on AI and life and health, showcasing new products and new technologies appearing in Luohu over the past five years.
On the sidelines of the fair, Luohu also held forums and seminars on 5G industries and its pro-innovation policies.
