From Dec. 15 to Dec. 18, 12 of Luohu’s enterprises and public institutions hosted job fairs at six key universities in Wuhan, Hubei province.
Organized by the Luohu Bureau of Human Resources and Luohu Talent Work Office, the activity aimed to recruit postgraduates with master’s and doctoral degrees to advance Luohu’s high-quality economic growth. The event has attracted nearly 1,000 candidates.
The six universities were Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan University of Technology, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) and Hubei University of Chinese Medicine.
The employers from Luohu offered more than 1,000 posts in the fields of biomedicine, finance and insurance, smart manufacturing and electric engineering. The interviews took place both online and offline.
Notably, the Luohu Hospital Group and the Hubei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine came to preliminary  agreements for numerous collaborative projects.
The activity, dubbed “Luohu talent hunting campaign,” has been held for three consecutive years, and functions as a platform to help Luohu attract talent from prestigious universities nationwide and create a direct pipeline between Luohu employers and the universities. Looking ahead, Luohu will further leverage the campaign to  bring together fresh minds based on the district’s development needs.
