Shenzhen and Hong Kong jointly hosted activities on June 15 to mark the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to the motherland.
These activities, broadcasted live in both Shenzhen and Hong Kong and including poetry reading at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, combined traditional Chinese culture and emerging cultures.
Officials from both sides spoke highly of the activities, saying that they reflected the achievements of the two regions’ integrated development, and hoping that the two sides can deepen cooperation and exchanges for a common bright future.
