The second Session of the seventh Shenzhen People’s Congress, the city’s legislature, was convened on April 11.
The city’s lawmakers reviewed the work reports of the Shenzhen municipal government, the Intermediary People’s Court of Shenzhen, the Intermediary People’s Procuratorate of Shenzhen, the city’s socio-economic development draft plan, and the budget draft plan, among others
The second Session of the seventh Shenzhen People’s Political Consultative Conference (SPPCC), the city’s political advisory body, was convened in Shenzhen on April 10. The political advisors listened to and reviewed a work report delivered by the chairperson of the SPPCC.
During the two sessions, lawmakers and political advisors conduct intensive discussions on topics related to the high-quality development of the city, including industrial internet, digital economy, elderly caring services, talent support, and protection of the rights and interests of the ride-hailing drivers and deliverymen.
Qin said that efforts must be made to build Shenzhen into a better city.
