The project of Guangzhou Pazhou Ferry Terminal, which handles passengers between Guangzhou and Hong Kong, and Macao, has recently passed completion acceptance, the Chu Kong Shipping Enterprises (Group) Co., Ltd. said on June 2.
The terminal is the first port in downtown Guangzhou offering high-speed passenger routes directly to Hong Kong. It will only take two hours from Hong Kong International Airport to downtown Guangzhou by ship.
According to plans for the next stage of the projects, there will be direct routes connecting the terminal with Macao and its international airport and travel services along the Pearl River.
According to the Guangdong Navigation, the opening of the terminal will further tighten the connections of cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
