The Guangdong provincial government released the province’s 14th five-year plan ( 2021-2025) of energy development on April 13.
The plan's objective is to build a modern energy framework featuring cleanness, low-carbon, safety, efficiency, smartness, and innovation.
According to the plan, relevant departments in the province need to make breakthroughs in energy supplies, consumption, science and technology, and governance.
The plans also highlights optimizing the construction of the power gird, enhancing the capacity to reserve energy, boosting energy technology innovation, forming hydrogen energy industrial clusters, and intensifying energy cooperation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
