The annual gathering of the Luohu Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference concluded on April 18.

Liu Guangmin, chairman of the district’s top political advisory body, Luohu mayor Fan Defan and Zhou Yichuan, director of the Standing Committee of Luohu People's Congress, were present at the closing of the session, in which the committee reported on the proposals it had received from its members, deliberated and passed a resolution of the session.

The committee members spoke highly of the district's performance in balancing COVID-19 containment and promoting socio-economic development over the past year, during which it has made substantial progress in seeking high-quality and sustainable development.

The committee members said they would continue to fulfill their duties in the coming year to build Luohu into a modern socialist pioneer district in sustainable development.
