The Standing Committee of the Luohu People’s Congress, the district’s top legislature, has fulfilled its responsibility in the fight against the novel coronavirus in Luohu over the past few months.

Hundreds of deputies to the district legislature have worked on the frontline in the district, making their due contribution to the fight. They also took advantage of their expertise in their respective fields to serve the people during the process.

Some of the deputies have donated essential medical supplies and life necessities worth more than 4 million yuan ($628,400).

The deputies also organized more than 1,000 volunteers to support the struggle against the virus.
